Hotaru Shibori Workshop
1 day Indigo Shibori Hotaru workshop - Dot pattern, June 18th
Takayuki Ishii will be in Montreal this June to teach a series of workshops using a sukumo vat and tradional Japanese shibori techniques.
This 1 day workshop will focus on the sewing and dyeing techniques used to make this Hotaru wave pattern. Students will learn the techniques needed to achieve the best possible result. At the end of the workshop you will have a meter of beautifully handcrafted Shibori dyed fabric that you will have crafted yourself.

Location: Montreal, Quebec.
The workshop location will be provided after purchase.
Materials provided: 38cm by 1 meter cotton linen
Sukumo vat for dyeing
Needles and thread for stitching
What to bring: Lunch and Rubber gloves (The Sukumo vat is safe to handle, but will dye your skin blue temporarily)
Waiver of Liability: We require students sign a liability waiver.
